A wonderful place where the books are as awesome as the staff. A variety of genres and children's books; If they don't have it on their shelf they are more than happy to order you your new favorite book!

Everyone I've talked to at the store has been super helpful and nice. It may be a small store, but they can order just about anything and have it in stock within a few days. I've particularly enjoyed their collections of local history and nature books.

Friendly and helpful customer service. Nice children’s section. While not quite large enough for couches, it’s inviting enough to linger and browse. So grateful it survived the pandemic! Good cafe right next door.

Locally owned bookshop with selections from a variety of genres, including a great kids section. Friendly, helpful owner and staff. A well curated selection of gift items, many locally made, are also available.

I went in the other day with my 5 year old to get a book and went to pay when I realized my card was not in my wallet. I asked if the credit card machine accepted Samsung Pay and the lady there(I think she's the owner) told me she didn't know but either way I wasn't leaving without the book since my son was so excited about it and that I could come back to pay her. Luckily, the machine took my Samsung pay but it was amazing of her to offer that! Thats someone who truly cares about her community! Thank you!!

Thank goodness for Kelly's Bookstore. I am a bookaholic, and if it wasn't for Kelly's large collection of books, gifts, and candies, I would be miserable. I can either find the book or order it and receive it in 1-2 days. Service is outstanding. Forget Amazon, go to Kelly's.

How lucky are we to have a great INDEPENDENT bookstore? Kelly has great titles, hard and soft covers, cards, gifts, and most important, community! In a world where the 800 pound gorilla (aka Amazon) has systematically cut the legs out from under independent after independent Kelly's Books has bucked the trend and proved that REAL bookstores are about a lot of things besides price! Got a reader in your life? Buy their next binge-read from Kelly and get something for yourself while you're there!

My first time coming here was when I was hoping to distract my mind with my therapist. I had never heard of a bookstore located here in Watsonville. When we arrived I was surprised at how comfortable I felt walking in. The place may be small but it provides such a comfortable feel. I had walked and looked through every shelf. Such a beautiful selection of books. Although they're not all "best selling," she provides books written by independent authors who are looking to make a them for themselves. I greatly appreciate and respect that. I purchased two books and found them to be amazing. The feel of the place, the woman running the bookstore, the books! I can't explain just how wonderful it all was. She was polite, and insanely helpful. Will be visiting again in the near future. Please do no hesitate to check out this store. It deserves to be known!
